the "Communication Domain"

Communication first became an object of study in the late 1980's, when the original Levels of Work framework was firmly identified as being located within the Q-expansion of the Principal Typology within the Communication Domain (RL5).

Work on the Primary Hierarchy-PH5 was tentative until 2010 when it was decided to investigate the Communication Domain thoroughly and systematically. Predictions were posted as challenges. These have been provisionally met. However, only the Primary Hierarchy has been posted in the Frameworks prior to Theory section.

In this Frameworks in Development section, I have worked on the following:

  • Primary Hierarchy Tree (PH5K), whose name has been changed to An Intentional Expression in accord with a recently discovered convention explained here.
  • Principal Typology (PH'5) whose name has long been: Methods for Using Language.

 

An Intentional Expression

Investigations of this Tree framework (PH5K) commenced around 2010 and a provisional version was completed and posted in 2013 and subsequently updated in 2016. All details were not provided and the current version remains incomplete.

Using Language

The effort in 2013 went into introducing the Q-expansion. So enough of the using language-PH'5 formulations were offered at that time to provide a context. A crude appreciation was sufficient for the Work in Organisations satellite.

The unfinished investigative task was to get much more clarity about each of the 7 methods in the PH'5 Typology. In late 2015, therefore, effort at formulation was re-commenced with a focus on determining suitable names and elucidating the TET and its various dualities. Posting occurred in 2016 and there have been additional amendments since then.
